I’m Lucas Cucco, originally from Rio de Janeiro and currently based in London, where I work in Master Data Management within the retail industry.
Before moving to the UK, I worked as a Supply Chain Intern at MAN Energy Solutions in Brazil. That was where I had my first professional experience working with Excel, SAP and operational data, which eventually sparked my interest in data processes and process improvement.
After that experience, I decided to move to London to start a new chapter and challenge myself professionally and personally. While adapting to a new country, I completed my Business Administration degree remotely at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in Rio de Janeiro.
During that period, I also worked as a bartender to support myself financially while studying and building my life in the UK. Looking back, it was a very important experience that taught me resilience, communication and adaptability.
Alongside my studies and work, I also volunteered with Barnes FC in London, supporting sports marketing activities, social media content, photography and club campaigns. It was a valuable experience that helped me understand how content, community and communication work in a real sports environment.
Today, I work with SAP S/4HANA, Excel automation, data validation, reconciliation and process improvement. I enjoy finding practical ways to make workflows cleaner, faster and more reliable.
Outside work, I enjoy watching sports, especially football. I support Flamengo in Brazil, and in my free time I also enjoy playing football, tennis and going for runs from time to time.
